Hello Neighbor review
Hello Neighbor is a puzzle themed game for kids that Russian Dynamic Pixels Studio released in 2017. Download Hello Neighbor to experience the survival action gameplay and reveal the horrible secrets.
Gameplay: Get Inside the Horrible Basement Uncaught
Imagine that you live in a house standing opposite a strange neighbor who seems to hide something (or someone) in the basement. Your goal is to get into his home and collect the stuff that will let you access that basement. The objects and devices that help you succeed are placed here and there in every room of the strange house.
Sometimes the game looks like a puzzle, where you can move to the next challenge, only having accomplished the previous one. It is vital to stay hidden; otherwise, the man will catch you, and you will have to start over again.
Feasible Graphics and Mild Violence
The design of Hello Neighbor is solid, and its visuals and graphics are nice. Little details appear convincing in the realistic old house environment, while the general visual concept has a modern cartoon style.
Unlike many horror games, Hello Neighbor does not show any blood. Shooting with a gun or throwing things at a man is definitely violent, so the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) rates this game's content as mildly violent and indicates the appropriate age as 10+. However, you can find Hello Neighbor review sections where kids and teenagers rate this game as proper for age 7+.
Moderate Jumpscares and Free Trial
Hello Neighbor's friendly mode will let you switch to less aggressive gameplay if you are very sensitive to jumpscares that will hit you from time to time, though you still have to do your best to avoid the man. The iOS and Android mobile versions offer you a free trial, which means you can only play Act 1 at no cost and then purchase the other two.
